Gone Green

More awesome art! Given an unlimited checkbook, I would stock my tree-house mansion with all manner of sci-fi and pop culture art. I mean, look at this painting! It's genius. Entitled "Vina The Longing" by an artist named I Samaras. It might be for sale.

And if you've got a few hours to spare, go ahead and ask the great GIS about  "Star Trek Paintings". It's fascinating.

Forget the unlimited checkbook -- you should commission some oil paintings from the far east for cheap. I am sure some talented Chinese or Indian painter would happily replicate "Vina The Longing" for $100 or less. I have a friend who runs a company that hooks up artists with western businesses, and if I had the wallspace I would be totally on top of these kinds of commissions.

Who gave me a jolly green giant.

"Vina," said Christopher Pike,

"Is something I think you will like.

Just take it from me:

Apparently, she

Can cause quite a mid-pelvic SPIKE!"

Joey, Atlas - you guys are fucking awesome. Sincerely. I'm in. Let's work this.

l.e.s.t.e.r - I am also in. Let's do it - the formula is easy. Take any scene from an existing sci-fi/pop art item, and paint it. Instant classic. Just off the top of my head: Borg Baby.

Instant art classic.
