Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter living the high life in very liberal NYC. O'Reilly remains about as popular as he ever has, whereas Coulter's career has dipped over the past 4 years. Though she's still out there, spewing poison. As all Right Wingers must - they deal in lies. It's the entirety of Right Wing existence at this point - lies for us, lies for themselves.

Slayer of Acorn, O'Keefe's "brand" of journalism led him to plead guilty to trespassing in a Democratic Senator's office and is currently on probation. How he avoided jail is beyond me. And last and least, "Bush's Brain", "Turdblossom", "Maker of Realities" Karl Rove. Once feared and feted, it should be clear after his election night performance, he's now an utter joke. Won't stop him from continuing to lie and grift billionaires out of their money.

Oh Tucker. You still haven't recovered from the lashing given to you by John Stewart so many years ago. Tossed from your lofty perch at the "balanced" CNN, you ditched the bow tie and sank lower and lower, looking for anyone to pay attention to you. Sad. Now a recurring guest of the odious Sean Hannity, and still laughed at.

I could throw in a pic of the Big Daddy of this sleazy tribe, Rush, but I'll spare you, my dear readers, the suffering. Suffice it to say even Rush is not doing so well these days. Take all these trends together, and grow heartened. These liars, these radicals, these hatemongers and con artists and demagogues are losing power, losing influence, losing appeal. America appears to be waking up from the 30 years long Republican nightmare, and we can thank Barack Obama for this great blessing. Thanks Bo!

To wit: Our Constitution was mostly suspended due to some nifty memos -- memos! - and we've all been surviving by the Grace of our now departed Dear Leader.

For no other reason then preventing this from happening again (even with my man Obama), all the secrets need to come out, and people have to be held accountable. Otherwise, what is a society of laws? Nothing, that's what.

For example, Karl Rove flat out ignores Congressional subpoenas, and walks and talks on Fox news all the while. How's that work?

"Respectful" campaign

Yeah, I can see how Ms. Hilton and Barack Obama have a lot in common......


Right.

McCain stated he wanted a "respectful", civil campaign. Yet all I've seen coming from his side is disrespect, and outright contempt.

Find out for yourself! Note how often he says hes "disappointed" in Obama, or disturbed. He offers to go to Iraq with him to "educate" him. His ads are obviously disrespectful. I suspect the truth is McCain does not personally think Obama should be running for President.

Hence, he's "presumptuous" , but let's cut to the chase and call him "uppity".

It's Rove 101, of course, but it's particularly galling this time.

Media Bias?!

The McCain camp has been whining non-stop about how the media is in love with Obama, and thus are biased, and thus are to blame for Johhny's poor performance so far.

Which is an absolute joke, of course, but hey! It's all in good fun.

McSame has been drinking deep from the Rove cup of late, since the Rove partisans came on board at the end of June.

And with their arrival, come the negative ads, misleading and false, but! McSame doesn't have enough money. What to do, what to do...

WASHINGTON — The number of times Senator John McCain’s new advertisement attacking Senator Barack Obama for canceling a visit with wounded troops in Germany last week has been shown fully or partly on local, national and cable newscasts: well into the hundreds.

The number of times that spot actually, truly ran as a paid commercial: roughly a dozen.

Funny stuff. On Morning Joe today, in the brief 15 minutes I watched, they played the latest RNC "Ad" three times -- all in the name of covering the news, of course.

Hilarious.


Make no mistake: There is a massive double standard here. Imagine if Obama mixed up Sunni and Shia, repeatedly, or referred to non-existing countries, or got critical geography wrong -- gosh, the media might question his foreign policy qualifications, dontchya think? But not McSame's -- cuz it's obvious he's got experience. He was a POW for crying out loud!

Not only the Media, but the entire apparatus of Government will be used against Obama in the upcoming election: Witness the Pentagon and State Department messing with Obama's overseas trip, and with the Pentagon supplying material directly for a McSame negative ad. Which is illegal, of course -- but what does the Law matter to the Republican Party? Nothing, is what. Party over country, country over the law.

Regardless, the media meme has been set: The Media is liberal, biased for Obama; thus, in order to preserve "objectivity" and "fairness", the media will scrutinize everything Obama does, and give McSame a pass on almost everything he does. And oh yeah -- run his TV commericals for him, for free.

Consider for a moment the unreality of Karl Rove posing as an analyst for Fox News.

Go ahead. Consider it.

You can see the Magic Spell wavering around him, the glamour which allows him to convince you (or people like you) that what he says is in good faith and NOT, most certainly not artful construction designed to manipulate you towards a desired end.

What has been remarkable about the past 20 years or so is the truly Postmodern attack the "Right" has been waging - they have made the Media into a relativistic, not to be trusted, tool for manipulation and propaganda, but they have done so in such a way that the "Common Man" believes in this story for the most part.

The Liberal Media.

Yes, as if GE has an overwhelming interest in espousing "Liberal" views.

But for the moment, consider Karl Rove pretending to be an objective analyst on a TV channel pretending NOT to be the propaganda wing of a certain faction of the Republican Party, and you can see how deep this magic hole goes.

We're in a reality now of mass marketed illusion and chicanery, posing as serious business.
