Food is fundamental
Food is of course the basis of all human civilizations, now and in the past. It is also the basis of all animal and plant civilizations, as they are. Food is the fundamental building block of all life, by necessity, and thus informs all other behaviors.
Given food's importance, it is a crucial element of all human war. Whether it is starving your opponent or feeding your own troops/people, food is the first concern of all war.
Here we see classic USA WW2 domestic propaganda. It's almost universally beautiful. And wise.
Food is a weapon. Among many other things.

More than a metaphor
To be fair, Canadians and Australians are getting pretty big too. Something about McDonalds (and ilk), I think.

Praise The Feathered Raptor Lord!
Raptor Lord is a harsh God, but fair. He only eats when He's hungry. Which, admittedly, is often. But running the Universe - including monitoring and influencing every single sporting event in the Universe in case one player/side is more fawning over Raptor Lord - is hard work!
Praise be unto Him. ROAR!

Products of training
A Kenellos one shot, but stirring in its frozen action.
Not all dogs fight the power, but many represent the power. Training, you see.
We do what we're trained to do.
What's your training? And not your schooling or degree or certification, but rather, how you were raised. Loved? In a safe, educational, healthy environment? Beaten? Moved from shelter to shelter? Cursed? Praised? The training we all undergo shapes us to this day. You can de-train, but first you must become aware.
Open your eyes! We are all but dogs getting taught lessons for kibble, and avoiding beatings.

Too Late
Alas, it is far too late in this cycle to do anything real against these global beasts of money and power - American companies spread across the globe, fattening and suckling impressionable youths at the teat of "whatever you want, whatever you can dream". Or fry.
Hollywood, Madison Avenue, Silicon Valley, flooding the world with America, the empire that need not conquer you militarily to rule you, as you'll queue up for the chance.
America! Buy it or leave it!

(Don't) Fear the Clown
Like Wal Mart, McDonald's wields a massive influence across the planet, and has radically changed the way many of us eat in the past 50 years. It's no hyperbole to say, for example, that McDonald's is one of the leading forces behind the destruction of the rain forest - due to forest being cut down for pasture for animals to kill to send to McDonald's.
And of course, the clown. But there are steps we can take! We could mount protests and boycotts; we could write letters; we could not frequent McDonald's. Or, we could kill the clown, before he kills us (too late, alas, for many):
Perseus, Slayer of Ronald!

Fun times in and around the DMZ
For whatever reason, L'il Kim has decided to stir the geopolitical plot and declare war on everyone. Check out the attack map above. Sorry, Austin!
No one believes NK can reach the US with any missile, but maybe L'il Kim thinks otherwise. Hard to say what anyone thinks or believes in North Korea - it truly is cut off from the rest of human civilization. Check out the night time satellite:
It's been a humanitarian disaster for decades, due to the extreme leadership of the Kim family, in the name of the perfect Communist society, of course. With the recently deceased Kim, the temper tantrums were usually designed to extract some concession from the international community - food aid, trade pacts, imports of luxury goods for the Party leaders. But with the young Kim, who knows. He's gotten very belligerent very quickly. Most likely this will follow the same pattern as before, but maybe not. Till then, let's review some fun times at the DMZ and beyond.
Fun fact! The Korean War (1950-1953) never ended - the war is still on. Thus, the DMZ, one of the most intense places in the world. We're looking from the South Korean side into North Korea along one of the few open spots on the DMZ. The blue (UN Blue, yo) buildings are used for rare meetings between the two sides.
Standard policy whenever opening the door to North Korea - holding hands. Awww. Apparently way back in the day a S.Korean guy opened the door and was dragged over to the N.Korean side until ransomed back. Fun!
So you're an intrepid hipster and want to go on vacation in North Korea. Here's some travel tips.
Might as well stick to Pyongyang. There ain't much else going on. Check out the cool HOTEL OF DOOM (most likely fake):
Now, ladies, there's only Party approved hairstyles allowed. Please conform to the following chart:
That's right! North Korea is not just about nuclear threats and famines. There's a sexy new style sweeping the Hermit Kingdom:
Join the Revolution!

There is but one
World Devourer, and The Silver Surfer is His Herald. But also Nova, Gabriel, Morg (The Executioner), and Firelord, among others.
Are Ye right with Galactus, mortal? If not, get yourself so soon, as He's hungry, and He could return at any time. Maybe in 6 weeks?
Zod's just a Kryptonian thug, by the way.

Gifts for the Gastro Nerd
Nerds love pizza - it's a scientific fact. And what better way to cut a pie than with the USS Enterprise? Beautiful and functional!
Studies have shown using the USS Enterprise baby spoon increases feeding efficiency by 57%, which makes it the only logical gift! The bib is made of futuristic teFlonia Repell_All, and features a sweet drawing of a Klingon ship approaching a Federation space station. Exciting! And awesome.
What Hipster nerd wouldn't want to "cook like Neelix"? Imagine the stories you'll have gathering the different ingredients?! Kazlockian Rock Larvae from the Planet V'Argas 6? Can you out spacespice your friends? Buy now, and find out!

Already Assimilated
A map showing McDonald's locations across the Contiguous 48. As you can see, they're everywhere, so much so that the small gaps jump out in contrast. National Parks, barren wastelands, roadless stretches of nature. For now - just you wait, Adirondack Park! Mickey D's will find you, eventually.
Now, like most everyone, I used to go to McDonald's all the time. As a kid it was a huuuuge treat. Not only for the burgers, fries and shakes, but oh yes, the once awesome Happy Meals:
Mint condition - part of some huge Trek nerd's collectible hoard. Marvel at the detail, the quality craftsmanship. I've seen today's Happy Meals, and like most everything else in our society, they've been cheapened and dumbed down. Profit margins, dawg.

Dinnertimin'
From the "Holier than Thou" file: I have not eaten at a McDonald's in approximately 16 years. Vegetarian, you see. However, I have gone into McDonald's to use the bathroom on trips, and I can vouch for the "don't have to get dressed up" claim. Functioning, hoseable mumus seems sufficient these days. At a minimum.
But look at these folk's style! That's not dressing up? That's a casual look? Damn, I miss the 70's, when even dressing down was stylish.
