En Los Arboles

White Lodge, Black Lodge, Log Lady, Pie and Coffee: Twin Peaks, folks. Weird, wild, wacky show. I watched it on VHS tape over a weekend back in the day and was properly impressed. I've started a re-watch and I've got to say: Wow! Late 80's fashions!

Note to future auteurs: Backwards talking dwarfs are always creepy.

At first, I thought this post was a series of band names. I will always appreciate TP for inspiring Camper to sing "That gum you like is back in style."

TP is the bomb. So weird. I still find it hard to believe it was on regular broadcast TV.

Also, Camper rules.

I often wondered how much of Fox Mulder was inspired by Agent Cooper.

It's funny you mention that because I was going to comment earlier that TP led directly to the X-Files and was perhaps one it's greatest influences, given the subsequent influence the X-Files had (some!).

David Duchovony in TP, as an FBI agent, is about as wacked as it gets. Agent Spooky! I like to think it is Mulder.
