Yeah, so they're making a movie about it, which of course will cause the 60% of the population yet to hear about 2012 to hear about it, and no doubt panic. So! Two things:
1. Yeah, I was warning you all about this back in the last Millennium - that's like a thousand years ago!
2. Time to open that folder named "Y2K" and update your investment portfolios. Hint: Look for Mormon companies.
