FREEDOM down the barrel of a gun

Fun fact to learn and share: FREEDOM literally comes from the barrel of a gun. Every time a gun is fired, FREEDOM emerges and gathers about us.

If we ban or restrict guns, we ban and restrict FREEDOM.

Don't you see? It's so simple.

The FOUNDING FATHERS knew this in their HEAVENLY SOULS, and gave us the SECOND AMENDMENT, praise JESUS.

The Moral Majority

Hey, Virginny? Like your new flag? No? Then get thee to thy polling place this upcoming Tuesday and make sure all Republicans lose. Because if they win, it will be less boobies for all of us.

Half joking, as always. Here's the original with upstanding citizen Ken Cuccinelli's changes:
But the gist is the same: Republicans hate boobies. They hate sex. They hate the classics. Speaking of classics, remember our old friend John Ashcroft?
Boobies! Classical, justice boobies. But that won't do with the new American Puritans. So this:
Became this:
Not only did they cover the nude statues, but they covered the entire space, no doubt to avoid accusations that they covered just the nudity - cuz that would be nuts, right? After all, The Founding Fathers  - Hallowed be their names - loved classical nudity, and as we all know, "Conservatives" adhere to the traditions of the past, by default, and would never attempt to radically change the nature of the country in pursuit of their religious beliefs. Only Muslims would do that.

All life is precious

Did you know both the Republican party and major religious groups did not care about abortion until the late 70's? Concurrent with the Presidency of Democrat, Jimmy Carter. And then one St. Ronaldus Maximus Reaganus used this issue as a wedge (among many) and won huge victories. And now we live in the heights of abortion as a political issue.

My stand on abortion: I wish no one had to have one, but if a woman chooses to, that's her right and she's got final say.

The Republican Party doesn't really care about abortions (they like them too, personally, for their daughters and mistresses), but boy do they love it as a political hand grenade.

Also, it's cool mammals look pretty identical at a certain stage of development. Proof of common descent - Oh! Evolution. Something else Republicans pretend to care about for political purposes.

American Jaysus

Old Jesus is what some wealthy holy roller says He is. He loves big cars, big houses, and big love for The Lord, amen!
And then instead of a cross as the main religious symbol, it could have been a handgun. Cuz Jesus loves handguns!
I'll admit to being a Godless Atheist and wishing for the end of Christian civilization, especially if the Christians are American Snake Handlers and other assorted crazy con men, and women. Big Bang bless America.

Always Worse

Another McNaughton, the Wingnuttiest painter there's ever been. Maybe - he's pretty Freepy. Check out the all star quarantine island of liberal hood: Katie Couric, David Letterman, Satan. Also, note the wind turbines on the left causing the tornado on the upper right. Wind power is of the devil, cuz: Liberals. The source of everything bad, you see, according to a Wingnut. A Teabagger. A Republican.
I read a summarized collection of current FreeRepublic posts - I'd rather not wade in directly. For you see, it is a pit of hate and stupidity, fear and rampant paranoia. They were of course cheering the Zimmerman verdict. Why? To piss off Liberals. That explains just about everything about them, by the way - they just want to piss off Liberals. They're crazed, as if possessed by some vile demon given to wanton hatred and disgust. And they've always been with us:
They used to be called "Birchers", after their membership or affinity for The John Birch Society - a collection of far right whackos. But they used to be fringe, on the margins, made fun of, not taken seriously by anyone serious. Now, however, they are the Republican Party, and they are literally at war with America.
They believe they are in a war, and are acting as such. Everything you see on Fox News is a propaganda element in their war. Believe it, for though it seems hyperbolic and unrealistic, these things are really happening. The Republicans have the chance to send the world financial system into depression in a few months, by not raising the borrowing limit of the USA. This has been done automatically hundreds of times in past administrations, it's routine. But not anymore, for once again the Republicans of the House (and they only - a small percentage of the US Government holding the rest hostage - it's breathtaking in the audacity) will play with the fate of the very modern world, over what? Better healthcare insurance for poor people? This is it, by the way. But hey, that's what evil does: Evil.

Through Freeper Eyes

You may have been taught that one of the founding principles of America was the separation of Church and State. You may also have been taught a concept called "The Melting Pot", wherein anyone in the world could become American. In fact, much of America's growth came from people moving here in hopes of a better life for themselves and their family - odds are, your family was one of them. It's even chiseled into the Statue of Liberty:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
your huddled masses, yearning to be free".

But you were wrong. You probably went to a PUBLIC SCHOOL, yes? Well, see, there's your problem. LIBERAL BRAINWASHING.

As any Real American knows (for Real American, read: White Conservative Male), America's a Christian Nation, we speak English, and all them swarthy bastards can go back to what ever hole they crawled out of.

FREEDOM! And Jesus, also too.

OBOT

I've become a single issue voter these days: Stop Republicans. The man best in position to do that is Barack Obama, so I support him 100%. As should any good person. And so I don't ever feel the need to debate this policy or that, or whatever revelation that comes out, in fact, I don't question BHO in the least regard while I still hold him sincere and good. Is he, sincere and good? Yes, unequivocally. Disagree with his policies if you must, be at least respect him as sincere and out for the common good.

Is that hypocritical of me? I accuse Republican followers of the same mindless following of their political leaders. But, their leaders are actual evil and are actively doing harm to our country. So, there's a difference! You see?

The first one is OUTRAGEOUS! Literally, it was a "news" story on Fox and Allies. The second picture of course, buried deep in some obscure archive. Who cares?!

The Republican mind at work today, so beware. Even fair seeming or even nice Republicans must support this evil, if they are Republicans.

But let us not end in negativity! Choom Gang, bring it home.
Barry Obama, All American Golden Child. Suck it, Wingnuts.

20130719

The Real Racists

Ask a Wingnut - he'll tell you who the real racists are. Black people, and "their" racist-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama.
There's your four cultural hotbuttons to fire up the rednecks and get them to forget that rich white men are robbing them blind. But, Obama!
It's just a joke! Don't you libtards have a sense of humor?
Oh boy, do the non-racists of the rightwing love Michelle Obama.

Another Inconvenient Truth

Homeless people dying in our streets all the time. Do we care? As a society? Above, an abandoned Detroit tenement elevator shaft. Dude fell in, died, then got frozen over. Hope they buried/burned him later, right?

Right? Everyone deserves a certain standard of life, and death. Right? Or is it that this truth is only true for Fox News viewers?
LOL, right? What do you want to bet that dead frozen dude is African American? And what do you want to bet a majority of white America doesn't care? We're the land of Slavery in its worst incarnation. What do you think the former slaveholders would be saying but a 100 years afterward?

Spitting venom - are we purging it? Or is it surging?

Geese Jam

I've actually been stuck in a goose related traffic jam. It was as frustrating as any other traffic jam - stupid fucking geese! Get out of the road you stupid fucks! I mean, ducks.
Best friends forever! Or at least for the next 2-4 weeks.

Opinions Like Assholes

Everyone's got an opinion - either their own, or imported from someone else, or some mixture of the two. And in America! We've got this here "Freedom of Speech", which is supposed justification for messages like the above - an actual billboard put up somewhere in Colorado. Here's a close up:
As racist, repulsive, repugnant, and really just nuts a message as could be, paid for no doubt by some folks who HATE Barack Obama. Why would that be, I wonder? Hmmm.

Republicans, a truly depraved, deplorable lot. I say a lot of mean stuff about them, and they'd use that as justification for their horrible behaviors, no doubt. But that's bullshit. These assholes have gone insane since Tricky Dick riled them all up and they've been getting crazier, more dangerous ever since. I'm gonna call it, but believe me when I say, I wish it were not so. I could dig voting for a fiscally conservative, socially liberal moderate Republican - that's what they should be, for crying out loud, if you actually followed their so called tenents. But no, they come nowhere near acting what they espouse. "Small Government", for example? An utter joke - every Republican Admin has swelled the size of government over the last 40 years, debt included. They want to regulate every aspect of your personal life and yet loudly bray "FREEDOM" any chance they can. They call themselves "Conservative" and yet are really bomb throwing, blow it all up Radicals. The Republican Party is a collection of deluded hypocrites, greedy scoundrels, cowards and racists - it's literally a party of the most despicable elements of not only our society, but mankind.

And yet, here we are, pretending Newt is not an utter joke, and for sooth! If he wins the nomination, vile creature that he is, he's guaranteed 35-40% of the vote right out the box. And the idea of President Gingrich is no laughing matter.

But this too, of course, is an opinion. But I'm also right - I mean, Jeepers! Check out this racist tripe above in detail - it's loaded with Wingnut symbology. There's a "SOROS" vulture! Truly insane.

20110325

Amen!

No idea where this billboard is from, but what do you want to bet it's the South? They know their Jesus! "After hanging on a crucifix for a few hours, I really enjoy the smooth, refreshing taste of Budweiser. If it's good enough for the Son of Gawd, it's good enough for you."

Also too:

(I Think I Was In) Heaven

It's a Pope Party Y'all!

But seriously, one of my favorite sub-sub-sub-sub topics of interest is the general category of "Purported Holy Man Acts Hypocritically". Example: Ted Haggard. There are many, many others.

Not to say John Paul here did anything bad - other than the systematic cover up of institutionalized pedophilia and rape! - but, you know: Funny photo.

Oh and also too: Sorry for the long absence. I was in New Gondolin - I need to get me some Sully Minions or something, or some kind of bot, to keep up in my absences. For I know the Interwebs hunger for more stupid pictures and related stupid comments. Don't we all?

Repuglican Jesus Mocks Your Compassion

It was an amusing week on the Right Wingnut Jesus front. Perhaps you heard the story down south where a man's house caught on fire, the fire department showed up, but because he did not pay his 75$ firefighting fee (not a tax! Remember, taxes are of the Devil), the firefighters stood around and watched the guy's house burn down, despite his pleas, despite the pets dying inside. The firefighters only got involved when the fire began to threaten the neighbor's house, who had paid his fee.

This, in a very concise nutshell, is the vision of Libertopia the cult members of Ayn Rand would foist on us.

However, where it got interesting to me was in the response by a so-called Christian. This quote is from the devout Christian Bryan Fisher, from the American Family Association (sidenote: Any organization with the word "Family" in their name will no doubt be meddling in everyone's affairs - for Freedom and Jesus, of course):

The fire department did the right and Christian thing. The right thing, by the way, is also the Christian thing, because there can be no difference between the two. The right thing to do will always be the Christian thing to do, and the Christian thing to do will always be the right thing to do.
If I somehow think the right thing to do is not the Christian thing to do, then I am either confused about what is right or confused about Christianity, or both.
In this case, critics of the fire department are confused both about right and wrong and about Christianity. And it is because they have fallen prey to a weakened, feminized version of Christianity that is only about softer virtues such as compassion and not in any part about the muscular Christian virtues of individual responsibility and accountability.
The Judeo-Christian tradition is clear that we must accept individual responsibility for our own decisions and actions. He who sows to the flesh, we are told, will from the flesh reap corruption. The law of sowing and reaping is a non-repealable law of nature and nature’s God. …
This story illustrates the fundamental difference between a sappy, secularist worldview, which unfortunately too many Christians have adopted, and the mature, robust Judeo-Christian worldview which made America the strongest and most prosperous nation in the world. The secularist wants to excuse and even reward irresponsibility, which eventually makes everybody less safe and less prosperous. A Christian worldview rewards responsibility and stresses individual responsibility and accountability, which in the end makes everybody more safe and more prosperous.
I’m going with mature, robust Christianity on this one.

 "Muscular Christianity". Like this?
Or some kind of "Robust Christianity" like this?

Regardless, the insanity/stupidity/hypocrisy is just overwhelming. I have to believe Mr. Fisher - and the many people who think like him - are sincere. If they're not, that's a whole nother ball of wax.

Now, I'm not a Christian, never have been, never will be. But! I've read the stupid Bible front to back, as well as all the major religious texts of all the major world religions. And I can say confidently that Mr. Fisher is wrong about "muscular Christianity". There's no such thing, and that is simply the perverted worldview of these neo-cons who would like nothing more than a bloody war (fought by others) in the name of Christ.

This is who WE are dealing with, these are the people holding back progress in the US, and thus the world. They are evil, and they need to be confronted/mocked/challenged at every opportunity.

Also, bonus awesome art:
Entitled: "Blackwater Jesus at Republican Mecca" by Stephen Pitt. You can find more of his awesome work here.

Truism: Fundamentalists are always the same; all that differs among them is whatever utopia they claim to be fighting for.

NO MORE CLEAN CHEESE!

I like where these Seniors are coming from - BAN THE SANTA TODAY!!!!

As a humorous counterpoint to the moronic teabaggers/fundies this great country is infested with, we obviously have many smart, funny people too. My favorite group of people, of course, are the nerds. This past weekend the loathsome bottom feeders of the Westboro Baptist Church - you know them, of course:
Charming, right? Anyways, these losers - "Christians!" usually protest soldier's funerals and other fun stuff like that. But for some reason, they chose to protest the recent ComicCon. Bad choice, hypocrites! A wonderful counter protest was organized, which featured scenes like this:
Mockery is a powerful tool in the never ending fight against stupid, banal, evil.

20100623

You know who else had a private militia?

Rand Paul - spawn of RONPAUL - Leader of the PAULTARDS.

I am actually beside myself at the craziness out there, and that it keeps getting crazier. The world is burning, and all these nutjobs care about is OBAMBER SOCIALIST COMMUNIST!!! They're insane, all the more sad because the powerful are using these insane people as fodder, for their own corporatist ends.

But hey look! Nothing bad could come from Right Wing nutjobs having their own private security force, amiright? Real 'Muricans are in the private security force, ergo, it's good!

Overall, all of this craziness is a lashing out, the last gasp of a dying order, desperate to hold onto whatever shards of power it thinks it deserves. Demography is destiny, and demography is 100% against these wingnuts - it's only a matter of time before their influence fades away. The question is: How much damage will they do before then?

We'll find out whether we like it or not. Buckle up.

Super Rummy

Heck of a job, Rummy.

Some tips for dealing with Repuglicans:

1. Anything they accuse anyone else of, they are guilty of themselves. It's called "Projection".
2. They live in a Fantasy World that came from the "Leave it to Beaver" TV show, which in fact never existed.
3. They are selfish to the point of evil.

That about sums up your typical so-called "Conservative" today.

20100416

IOKIYAR in pictures

This is OK. It's Repuglicans.

Not OK - not a Republican. Here, from Suhail Khan, Bush appointee in the Dept. of Transportation:

Many preceding presidents wouldn't go as far as to even enter the Oval Office without a suit and tie, much less use this very important and public office in an informal or casual manner. And yet, while conferring with his senior aides in the Oval Office, President Obama obviously feels it appropriate enough to prop-up his feet on the historically significant nineteenth-century Resolute Desk. Perhaps its the age in which we live, or a new time of informality, but I'm sure I'm not alone in being just a bit uneasy with such a disregard for the highest American office, however small or insignificant the gesture may be. In the grand scheme of things, putting one's feet up on White House furniture isn't akin to the high crimes and misdemeanors of say Watergate or even President Clinton's antics with interns and the like, but President Obama's callous gesture demonstrates a significant lapse of respect for our highest office.

This is but one example out of countless examples of the raging hypocrisy of the Repuglicans  and their supporters. To wit: There is no amount of hypocrisy or cognitive dissonance they can not or will not engage in. They could say one thing in the morning and reverse themselves in the afternoon and it will be accepted.

We're living in a political climate in large part made up of pure lies and BS - all coming from one side, and amplified by a compliant media.

You would think reasonable people could look at these two pictures and understand it's no big deal. But Repuglicans are not reasonable people - they're the villains in the American tale. And as such, there's no amount of lying and deception they will not engage in for the pursuit of power and money.
