Each dot represents 25 people, and each color represents a self identified race from the 2010 census. This is Chicago, and you can see how the main ethnicities are ghettoized. Not specific to Chicago, either, as all American cities and probably most world cities are set up the same way. Here's a few more:
Detroit
LA
Greater NYC.
As long as such ghettoization exists, then so too will racism. But much of it is self chosen, yeah?
Complicated subject!

Come Together
It's heartening to see people come together in times of tragedy and loss.
It's sad that it takes such tragedies to bring people together in such visible ways. Shouldn't we be together - all of us, all people - all the time?
Maybe sometime in the future.

No Coke - Fuck that Shit
Chicago, July 2011, Navy Pier. Fun place! I took a bunch of awesome shots.
Chicago, 1941. PBR was somehow blended 33 to 1 back then, and, I presume now. Are we not being told of this wondrous process? I've never heard of it before. But then, I'm moving with the Heineken crowd these days.
