Dancin Bones Mon
When you think about it, man, we're just skeletons covered in skin. But when you really think about it, we're just skin wrapped skeletons transporting organs in support of the brain and brain stem. The real you is just a brain and stem, man, and all the rest is the infrastructure.
Weird, right? But then everything is, if you think about it.

Eyes everywhere
Soon enough every where will be under the all seeing eye and what happens then? When men in suits have video of everyone at all times?
We enter the new age soon enough, fellow humans.

Begging To Climb
It's an understandable urge, if you're not afraid of heights: To climb a prominent landmark. Back in flapper days I'm sure this was cool, but today?
Not cool!
I mean, yeah, it's cool, but NOT COOL! Every single person who climbs the pyramids damages them to some degree - it cannot be avoided. Since they are a treasure beyond price, they must be protected for the future.
Speaking of our glorious future, did you hear about the Mayan temple that got torn down for rocks to use in a new road?
Save our temples!

The Making of You (No Escape)
The urge to share, to record, to transmit your meaning to others is a powerful part of being human - we're social animals to the extreme, and technology has allowed us to be social in ways never seen before.
Look at this high tech stuff! All replaced of course in the glorious 21st century by
The smart phone, which is truly a wonder. And a horror, for so many reasons - the Selfie high among them.
So don't worry about privacy anymore - not only will the streets and skies and oceans be filled with cameras, but we'll be recording ourselves and others all the time, uploading it onto a cyberspace that will always be fully monitored by governments and corporations.
You have nothing to fear, of course, if you have nothing to hide. Unlike this poor cat.

Quoting Goethe
Beautiful protestor with powerful placard? What's not to love. Protesting power is hot in general.
Art is pretty, always (in its specific way), but subverting myth is especially pretty in my book. In which is written: Once women take over society, the world can truly progress.

Of Interest Perhaps Only To Me
Click for big! My discovery, simple minded as it is, was that the Sun moves all over the sky.
Having lived in cities for many years, I never saw the path of the Sun through the seasons. But now, high up in New Gondolin, I see the Sun go from Winter left to Summer Right, booking across the sky. Of course it is we - The Earth - that is moving, not the Sun, but hard to deny the illusion.
So you see above half my year. That is the Winter Sun, 2011. The dates above the other mountains cover the sunsets to come/gone. Spring/Fall is a magical spot there in the hollow of the closest mountain.
Seeing the rhythms of our planet play out every night, every year, is awesome. Man.

Another's Flag
I believe in these things, somewhat truly: The United Nations - shouldn't we all belong to the same nation? We're all the same people, let's organize and conquer Mars.
Control the water, control the planet.
Redshirt originals all, yeah.

You wouldn't like me
You can see what would happen in a Grizzly v. Hulk fight.
Grizzly v. Gorilla is a better match - this weekend on pay-per-view, by the by. I've got 10,000 Reagans on the bear.

Dogs in socks and fridges
Fridge Dog is unaligned with Fridge Cat, which is a shame, for if they got together, no one could stop them. Also, Fridge Dog lives in a much healthier fridge, which might be the reason for the nonalignment.
Also, dogs hate socks. So do cats. No animal can handle socks, except for people. Proving our superiority, clearly.
Finally, "Refrigerator" is a terrible word. Too long, hard to spell, and the "Re-" is totally unnecessary. The word "Fridge" should be the official term.

Coke and a Smile
For real - the artist obtains an actual neolithic vase and paints Coca Cola logos on them. Read about Al Weiwei here. This is a genuinely provoking piece of art for me, as 1. It's a Neolithic vase! They don't grow on trees. But 2. I get it, and it works. It's stunning.
That kind of reaction is specific to art, and is one of its chief powers. At the same time, it's like saying one is against murder, and so committing the worst murder you can think of to show how bad murder is. Don't murder, kids!
Nuts.

Everyone's place
As has been long taught, the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.
It should be all of our place. Perpetual revolution - peaceful, you dig? But constant, and thus no entrenched power elite can gain enough strength to oppress us.
A revolution of the mind - acceptance of the dialectic nature of power, and how the few use it to rule the many.
We've gone through many social revolutions these past 100 years. Women's rights, LGBT rights, minority rights, etc. Many have fought against these revolutions - the forces of the status quo, the minions of the elite. But as you see, they can be overcome. Sometimes! To degrees.

LOL Jesus IV
Know your meme! But seriously, every other person at an AA meeting starts their story this way - "This one time I got so hammered...." (or variant). It becomes a strange drug, and I think the body gets a little placebo drunk, even if stone sober.
Also, memes rule. I love them even though I know they're lame. It's like a brand new form of the joke - by that I mean one person getting another person to laugh intentionally. One wonders when the first joke was told, or even further back, when the first physical humor was displayed. I contend the first physical joke was the "tapping on the left shoulder when in truth you are standing on the right side, such that the tap-ee looks left to see no one, then right to see you!"
Still funny!

Still America
A life goal: Take anything and everything you are comfortable with and look at it from a completely different angle. Upside down, sideways, backwards, slanted, etc. Perspective is the most important lesson.
As far as I've read, there's some debate exactly when the Americas were founded by people. Remember that all people come from Africa, according to current theory, and thus traveled to Asia and on further to the Americas. Lots of walking! Perhaps boats were far better - two rival theories hold boat travel from Africa and Japan prior to land bridge via Alaska model. Who knows if we'll ever know for sure, but with better science and evidence, perhaps we'll get even closer to the truth.
In the meantime it doesn't matter as people will make up their own stories regardless.

But for Humanity's sake
Check this out in detail if you would. It's filled with amazing propaganda. Let it open your eyes to the seeming fact Republicans have been lying Imperialists since at least 1900. But it was not always so, right?
Honest Abe might be the only good Republican, ever. And he was basically the first. So, let's call it a fluke and accept the general evilness that is the Republican Party of these United State of America. And don't throw Teddy at me - he's in the poster above!
But so what, right? Both sides do it, and it's really the corporations and global elite who control both parties, and everything in this world.
Maybe? I do fear the MTV Goons from busting down my door. I'd be all like "NO! Why didn't you just keep playing music videos?! And video shows like 'Yo! MTV Raps'?!" As they bundled me off for Real World: Guantanamo.

In an other world
Once upon a time there was a strange place named Rhodesia, and they had a fabulous army.
Which was used of course to suppress the majority black population from thoughts of self rule. Brutally, as such things go, even with such slick 70's fashions and hairstyles.
Also too:
Apparently, babies with guns/grenades/etc is a thing on the Internet. Don't look it up unless you want to be further appalled by humanity.

Pain for Sport
I'm not sure this awesome statement by the man, MT, is completely true. Other animals play with creatures before killing them - is that sport? Yeah, kinda. Regardless, this statement is true enough to tell the tale - we are Gods upon this Earth and we kill and torture for sport.
Cruel Gods.
And yet a bull fighter recants, and so proves maybe we can be more than the ultimate killing machines.
Twain loved kitties, and so further cements his Internet God-dom.
Super hunk Mark Twain, writer of words, lover of kitties. A meme machine for mankind for the next 1 to 2 hundred years.
